See acclaimed singer, songwriter, composer and producer, Gary Barlow in his theatrical one man stage show, A Different Stage, at The Savoy Theatre, from the 21st November.

Join Southwark Heritage Officer, Jessie, on a guided tour through Southwark tomorrow 10am-12pm (Saturday 19th November), to explore the fascinating archaeological sites that are bring Southwark's past alive. As well as visiting the sites where nationally significant excavation's took place, you will be able to handle real historical objects from Southwark Heritage's archaeology collections. Check out the Jakob Kvist: Dichroic Sphere at Southbank. Launching Saturday 19th, Dichroic Sphere is a light sculpture by Danish light artist and designer Jakob Kvist. It consists of an aluminium geodesic dome structure, attached with acrylic sheets and dichroic film, and changes colour according to what angle the light comes from.The artwork is commissioned with the generous support of the Embassy of Denmark in the United Kingdom.

Experience Outernet at The Now Building in Tottenham Court. It’s the newest immersive entertainment district in the heart of London where communities can come together to enjoy culture in breathtaking new ways. Enjoy Stratford East’s unique twist on this classic tale of Cinderella set in the ancient home of Sphynx cats, pharaohs and the empress Cleopatra. Opening tomorrow at the Theatre Royal Stratford East, the panto will feature show-stopping original music and laugh-out-loud comedy, alongside magical sets and costumes. It’s the perfect festive treat for all ages.

Lose yourself in the depths of a labyrinth at the Sleeping Trees, with The Vaults, who have transformed the belly of Waterloo into an underground world, brimming with characters from Peter Pan and Labyrinth, along with a cult soundtrack and a party atmosphere. Doors opening 18th October at 7.30pm. Show starts at 8.00pm.

Go on a Journey of  Discovery through our shared history, present and future. Launching in Trafalgar Square this weekend, with 96 globes, Journey of Discovery explores nine themes, ranging from Mother Africa through The Reality of Being Enslaved and Echoes in the Present. The state-of-the-art exhibition is a free, lighthearted, artistic and educational experience, which explores different themes through a variety of interpretations and creative styles, delving into racial justice and the history of the Transatlantic Trade in Enslaved Africans. It features works by emerging and internationally renowned artists such as Vashti Harrison, Phoebe Boswell and The World Reimagined’s Founding Artist Yinka Shonibare CBE. Passers-by will be able to interact with each globe and join The Journey of Discovery by reading a series of stories of each globe's theme through an interactive online platform.

Do the 12 Days of Christmas Tower London style. The Tower of London Christmas trail invites you to spot 9 rowdy ravens, seek out a sparkling Christmas tree for each of Henry VIII’s wives and snap a photo with 3 lordly life-size lions in support of England’s World Cup campaign. The opening night is the 23rd November 2022 and access is included in the general admission ticket price.

Explore the London Wetlands Centre in Barnes, home to Illuminature, a trail of nature themed sculptures which glow after dark. You can follow the route past twinkling lights and giant illuminated sculptures which depict the creatures that live in the wetlands.

Ride a special illuminated train with the Epping Ongar Light Fantastic from the 18th November. Beginning at North Weald station, the magical train ride features a specially designed show to highlight stations, rural setting and woodlands.

Take your children to see an adaptation of Kenneth Grahame's book, set in modern-day London, at Wilton's Music Hall. ‘Wind In The Wilton’s’ is a magical twist on The Wind in the Willows and is running throughout the festive period, with Ratty, Mole, Badger and co travelling through Hyde Park and along the Thames. Opening on the 24th November.

Head over to Elephant Park for a winter experience in South London this festive season. Wander through Sayer Street, The Park, and Ash Avenue to visit the illuminated path lined with Christmas trees, warm twinkling lights, and mesmerising snowflake lights. Aside from all the lights and trees around Elephant Park, enjoy the abundance of shops and restaurants with tasty food options, shops to pick up a festive gift for your ‘elf or a loved one, and more.

Head to the ultimate festive fun destination, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. The theme park is back with a brand new buzzing street food area called The Sleigh-By!, thrilling rides that include the Aeronaut Starflyer, the brand new Canadian Mountie Funhouse, The Time Machine, Dragon’s Nest, the unique Discovery, plus the return of Dr Archibald with a new immersive VR experience. Be responsibly irresponsible at Big Fish Little Fish Snow Ball’s Festive Family Rave on the 20th November at Between the Bridges on the Southbank. They’ll be playing The Pier venue at Between the Bridges, next to the London Eye and it promises to be a Christmas cracker of a family rave. You will find a multi-sensory dance floor with glitter cannons, bubbles, giant balloons and parachute dance finale.Nifty Natty Craft tables with giant mural, themed crafts and play doh table. Foodies can head to Olympia London for the Eat & Drink Festival Christmas Special. Pick up tips on preparing your festive feasts, with special demos from celebrity chefs; discover beers, wines and spirits to pair with your meal; and go home armed with goodies from the artisan food market.

Get transported back in time to Christmas past, with a nostalgic take on festive décor. Yes, New York's famous Miracle on Ninth Street bar is popping up in London Convent Garden for the festive season. Hidden away on the mezzanine, the space is inspired by a 70's Christmas home' with retro decorations and coloured lights. Duration time for each reservation is 1 hour 45 minutes.

Celebrate the American holiday of Thanksgiving on the 24th November. There’s plenty of Thanksgiving offers at restaurants across the capital, such as this feasting menu at Duck & Waffle which includes festive classics like maple glazed cornbreadsweet potatoes, green bean casserole and other scrumptious sides to accompany the succulent turkey - served with all the trimmings.

Do Thanksgiving in true American style at Benjamin Franklin House, located on 36 Craven St, WC2. The museum is offering an after-hours tour of the historic House where you can view decorations created by their school and family groups and add your own note to the ‘Wall of Gratitude’ in the House's corridor, followed by traditional Thanksgiving treats (including the “best Pumpkin Pie” in London) in Franklin's parlour.

Downward dog your way into wellbeing with The Puppy Yoga Company in Camden, who are offering a very unique experience where yoga meets puppies. Each class is 60 mins long and consists of 30 mins of mixed ability yoga and 30 mins of pure puppy fun time! Apparently interaction with puppies has been proven to reduce blood pressure, release relaxation hormones, and cut down on levels of stress - whilst yoga eases stress and anxiety, increases flexibility, improves sleep. Sounds like a win win!

Yoga and Brunch is launching on Saturday November 19th at South London's Taproom, which is tucked away off Walworth Road close to Elephant and Castle. The first hour will be a flow style yoga class to a pop soundtrack and then after the class there'll be time to grab a caffeine fix before sitting down to a brunch feast with dishes such as spiced apple compote with granola and yoghurt, breakfast bagel bake and pumpkin spiced cinnamon rolls.
