Happiness Forgets

Boasting ‘high end cocktails in a low rent basement’, this little Shoreditch cocktail bar find does away with the pomp and circumstance of many bars – instead focusing on serving up blindingly good cocktails – and it works. It’s open from 5pm till 11pm daily and also offers a takeaway and cocktail delivery service!

Moonshine Minnie’s

Tucked away beneath Blues Kitchen Shoreditch is Moonshine Minnie's, where you can enjoy an amazing selection of whiskey-based cocktails, as well as southern American bar snacks and a soundtrack exclusively led by female R&B artists. What’s special is that the cocktails are just £5!

The Mayor Of Scaredy Cat Town.

Literally, hidden beneath The Breakfast Club on Artillery Lane, is The Mayor Of Scaredy Cat Town.  Make sure you inform a member of staff that you are “here to see the Mayor'' and you will be directed to the normal-seeming Smeg fridge. On Saturday’s & Sunday’s you can indulge in 2 hours of Prosecco, Pornstar Martini’s, Aperol Spritzes, Bloody Mary’s & a Breakfast Club brunch dish for just £45!

In the upclass neighborhood of Knightsbridge there’s a mysterious cocktail bar called Holy Bar, which labels itself as ‘the new destination for the curious’. Its design has been inspired by the surrealism of Salvador Dali and the wondrous world of Peter Pan’s Neverland and its botanical cocktails are all inspired by Mother Earth. They offer a set of twelve cocktails, each representing a tarot archetype. Guests are invited to stabilise their energy with a sip of Temperance or allow The Devil to entice you to delve into your darker side, while The Empress reconnects you with your feminine energy and the Wheel of Fortune restores your faith in the universe.

Evans & Peel Detective Agency

There’s a rather novel cocktail bar near Earls Court Olympia that’s run by playboy entrepreneurs with Detective day jobs and a cocktail menu which is based on their biggest and most interesting cases. They offer the‘Worlds Best Old Fashioned’ but it’s off menu’ so you need to ask for it privately.
