Green Glows: London's Most Eco-Friendly Guy Fawkes Nights

As November rolls in, so does the vibrant tradition of Guy Fawkes Night. It's a time of bonfires, fireworks, and festivities, all commemorating the foiling of the infamous Gunpowder Plot. However, in today's eco-conscious world, it's important to consider the environmental footprint of these celebrations. Some of London's iconic Guy Fawkes destinations are taking commendable steps to reduce their impact on the environment.

In this blog post, we'll take you on a tour of the most sustainable fireworks displays in the city so you can celebrate Guy Fawkes Night with a green twist!

Fawkes Festival - London’s first eco-friendly bonfire night

London’s biggest ever laser light show will entertain thousands celebrating bonfire night in Hammersmith & Fulham. Tickets are on sale now for the Fawkes Festival extravaganza on Friday 3 November and Saturday 4 November in both Ravenscourt Park, Hammersmith, and Bishops Park, Fulham. The ever-popular musical fireworks shows return to Wimbledon Park on Saturday 4 November and Morden Park on Sunday 5 November, with extra measures taken to reduce the carbon output of the occasion. The event organisers will calculate the carbon output of all fireworks and flames used within the display and make a donation to Just One Tree in order to offset the carbon footprint of the shows.
